I just finished the book Heaven Encounters by Randy Kay and I’m even more excited about Heaven than I was before. I totally relate to how you feel and it’s because we’re exiles in this world and Heaven truly is our home. 🧡🧡
Helllooo!!! Fellow bed-maker and most likely “can I be excused”-er when you were finished eating! This is a beautiful essay on the shifting and constants around the meaning of home ✨ I loved: “There was security.
There was peace.
There was joy.” So simple and like you say, not always in every “home.” I wonder if any of them are missing could it really be called a home? I’m looking forward to your future home!
Yes ma'am, and there was no "may I be excused" either because there were only three of us so we all stayed at the table until everybody was finished. Those are some of my best memories so I'm glad that I stayed there.
I'm not sure if those three are required to make a home. I would say they're probably required to make a happy home, to have positive memories about that home. Good food for thought and yes, I'm so looking forward to that future home someday. 😊

Absolutely! Makes everything worthwhile to have that home to look forward to! 😊
